Washington Fall Planner Privacy Policy

Accounts and information you provide

No user account is required. The app does not ask for your name, a profile, or a personal travel account.

Your planner choices—such as date, desired payoff, hiking effort, and drive tolerance—and any saved plan may be stored locally on your device so the app can provide and restore your planning experience.

Weather requests

The app may request destination-specific weather information from public weather services such as the National Weather Service. These requests use the destination or forecast area needed to retrieve weather information; the service may also receive standard technical information, such as an IP address, as part of providing the request.

The app may show available weather information, but road, trail, smoke, ferry, park, and facility conditions are separate checks unless the app expressly says a source was fetched.

Purchases and RevenueCat

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Washington Fall Planner does not receive or store payment-card information.

RevenueCat is used to manage purchase status and entitlement to paid features. RevenueCat may process transaction identifiers and device or app identifiers needed to validate purchases, restore access, prevent entitlement errors, and provide purchase functionality. Apple and RevenueCat handle information under their own privacy policies.

Official and third-party links

The app links to official road, trail, smoke, ferry, park, weather, and facility sources. Opening one of those links takes you to a third-party website or service governed by its own privacy policy.

A link does not mean that source was automatically checked by the app. Current access and safety-sensitive information should always be confirmed directly with the appropriate official source.

Advertising and sale of information

• The app does not contain advertising.
• Washington Fall Planner does not sell personal information.
• The app does not use behavioral advertising.
• This public privacy and support site does not use analytics, tracking scripts, or cookies.

Storage and retention

Locally stored planner preferences and saved plans remain on your device until they are replaced, cleared with the app’s local data, or removed with the app, subject to device backup and restore behavior. Apple and RevenueCat retain purchase-related records according to their own policies and legal obligations.

Children

Washington Fall Planner is a general travel-planning application. It is not specifically directed to children and does not knowingly ask children to create an account or provide a personal profile.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when app features, service providers, or legal requirements change. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
